One real ASU course, taken together.
Students take the same online college course at the same time, with one weekly group check-in, a shared pacing calendar, and a Friday report to every family. A course club of 3 to 7 students is $225 per student per course; a group of 8 or more is $175. ESA-eligible through ClassWallet. Independent college preparation services; the students do every assignment themselves.
What the group gets
- A 60-minute group session every week: pacing, the hard module of the week, questions answered before they become late work
- One pacing calendar for the whole group, on every family's phone
- A Friday report to each family (grade so far, pace, what is due, one win, one way to help)
- A transfer check for the course against the colleges your families name, from the published University of Arizona and NAU rulings
- Help with ASU's accommodations process for students with an IEP or 504
What it costs, two bills
To ASU, per student: $25 to start the course; $400 to add the credit to an official ASU transcript, only with a C or better and only if the family chooses.
To Caveat, per student per course: $225 for a course club of 3 to 7 students, or $175 for a group of 8 or more. Siblings 10% off. Students who want one-on-one support on top of the group session can add it at the regular rates.
Prices as of October 2026. ASU sets its own fees and may change them.
Once your club or group is confirmed, each family pays for its own student here, or through ClassWallet with ESA funds.
The math for an organizer
Slide the number of students. The rate drops to $175 at eight. The per-student number is what a family pays Caveat; the ASU fees are separate and go to ASU.
Most co-ops run one course per semester. Good first courses for a mixed group: ENG 101, PSY 101, SOC 101, COM 100 and MAT 114, all with published direct equivalents at UA and NAU (except ENG 101 at NAU, elective unless paired with ENG 102).
How it works
- A club of friends needs one parent to organize; we handle the rest.
- Your group picks a course and a start (ASU's spring sessions start January 12 and March 16, 2027; many courses start any time).
- We run a free 30-minute planning call with the organizer, then a 20-minute call with any family that wants one.
- Each family enrolls its own student at ASU ($25) and pays Caveat directly or through ClassWallet.
- Weekly group session online, or in person at your meeting place if it is in the Phoenix area.

Each college decides which credits it accepts; we show families the published rulings and never promise transfer. Students do all of their own coursework; Caveat never logs in as a student.
